Log siding lends the look of a log home or cabin to a traditional or stick-built structure. Incorporating "False Corners" enhances the look even further.
Custom/Northern Log Homes supplies
many different styles of log siding. On
occasions we are able to duplicate an old or
outdated profile of siding. The siding we
provide matches the "Machined Logs" we provide so
skirt boards. gable ends and dormers match the
log walls.
Machined or Planed Log Siding..

Standard Round Shiplap Siding matches the radius of
our D-Logs.

The siding can be used in conjunction with our logs
in gable ends, dormers and skirting.

A "hewn", or rustic look can be applied for those
who prefer a more rustic look.

False Corners are also available that matches the
siding.

Swedish Cope Log Siding..

Swedish Cope Log Siding is actually a Swedish Cope
Log sawn in half. Saddle Notched Corners can
also be used to complete the
"Real Log Look" on a conventionally framed
building.

Sizes available are:
6" - stack height 5"
8" - stack height 7"
9" - stack height 8"
10" - stack height 9"
12" - stack height 11"
13" - stack height 12"
NOTE: Large sizes are extremely heavy
and may require additional support and anchoring
techniques. Check with your local building
officer or engineer for specifics that may be
required.
Specie are Western Engelmann Spruce and Lodgepole Pine. Western Red Cedar is available with certain profiles.
